Sexual Assault Survivors Anonymous (SASA) is a recovery programme for survivors of sexual assault. It is a healing process designed for rape survivors that was adopted from the 12 steps of recovery for Alcoholic Anonymous groups which the sister hood follows. The SASA study is facilitated to get empirical evidence of the girls healing process and it encourages kids to stay in school. This is done by measuring the number of dropouts prior to the intervention versus the number of dropout after the intervention.
